Local shopping areas are at Oxenford for Woolworths and other fresh food shops. Helensvale's Westfield Shopping centre offers a wide range of retail shopping, fresh food, KMart, Target, Aldi, Coles and Woolworths supermarkets.

Closest golf courses can be found at Sanctuary Cove and Hope Island. There is a public 25m pool at Helensvale on Discovery Drive.

There are several good Gold Coast schools close by including state and private schools.

Gold Coast hospital is the closest major hospital and is located in Southport. There are various medical facilities such as doctors and dentists within the local area.
